Opening Prayer
All: Mighty God, we look to the rulers of this earth for leadership, wisdom, and strength. When rulers betray, God offers another look. God will guide us. God’s Spirit will sustain us. Christ will welcome us home. Come, sisters and brothers, we are all God’s family now.

Call to Confession
Prayer of Confession
All: Our God, you created the world and called it good. You created man and woman in your image and called them very good. But we have been deceived by half-truths and false promises. We have tasted temptation and it is bitter in our mouths. We thought our desire for forbidden fruit would bring us wisdom, but it brought us only the curse of pain and death. Please cover us in your love. Take away our sin. Restore our relationship with you, our God. Amen.

Message: “We All Fall Down” Pastor Greg
Affirmation of Faith (from The Second Helvetic Confession)
All: "Unity consists not in outward rites and ceremonies, but rather in the truth and unity of the catholic faith. The catholic faith is not given to us by human laws, but by Holy Scriptures, of which the Apostles’ Creed is a compendium. And, therefore, we read in the ancient writers that there was a manifold diversity of rites, but that they were free, and no one ever thought that the unity of the Church was thereby dissolved. So we teach that the true harmony of the Church consists in doctrines and in the true and harmonious preaching of the Gospel of Christ, and in rites that have been expressly delivered by the Lord."
